The Title IX Office is primarily responsible for providing leadership, oversight, consultation, education, and training to the University community around the topic of Title IX and related University policies and procedures. This includes meeting with individuals to answer questions, review rights and options, and provide resources and support services. The office also helps to ensure that the University responds appropriately and effectively to issues and grievances related to Title IX and related state and federal laws.

The Title IX Office works with the Office for Access & Equity – EEO Compliance (EEO) for reports of sexual misconduct that involve employees. EEO staff may serve as a Title IX designee to reach out after a report, assist individuals in reviewing their Rights and Options, and offer supportive measures and resources.
